March 18, 2025: Trussville, AL 35173 The Hewitt-Trussville Huskies (Trussville, AL) baseball got by the visiting Mountain Brook Spartans (Birmingham, AL), 8-7 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Huskies now own a 17-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Prattville for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 20. Hewitt-Trussville will clash with a Lions team coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Auburn (Auburn, AL). The Lions record now stands at 8-9.
With the defeat, Mountain Brook drops to 13-5 on the year. The Spartans host Woodlawn (Birmingham, AL) to clash with the Colonels in a 6A Area 10 challenge on Wednesday, March 19. The Colonels go into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Woodlawn lost 27-0 in their recent league challenge against Mountain Brook (Birmingham, AL)
