Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host East Mecklenburg Eagles (Charlotte, NC), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Porter Ridge improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Pirates host Union Academy (Monroe, NC) to encounter the Cardinals in a non-league test on Thursday, March 20. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 3-0. Union Academy won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Butler (Matthews, NC)
