March 18, 2025: Oxford, AL 36203 Guntersville Wildcats (Guntersville, AL) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Oxford Yellow Jackets (Oxford, AL), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Guntersville moves its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Douglas (Douglas, AL) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league test on Monday, March 31. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 3-7.
The Yellow Jackets now sport a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pell City for a 6A Area 11 test on Wednesday, March 19. Oxford will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Gardendale (Gardendale, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 8-2.
