Georgia High School Soccer - Riverwood knocks off North Cobb
March 18, 2025: Kennesaw, GA 30144 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Riverwood Raiders (Sandy Springs, GA) and the host North Cobb Warriors (Kennesaw, GA), saw Riverwood's soccer squad triumph over North Cobb by a count of 5-0.
The Raiders (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Sprayberry (Marietta, GA). The Yellow Jackets enter the 5A Region 6 battle with a 5-6 record. In their last battle, Sprayberry was overwhelmed by Wheeler (Marietta, GA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Warriors battle the Cherokee Warriors (Canton, GA) in a 6A Region 5 battle, on Friday, March 21. North Cobb will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 8-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to North Paulding (Dallas, GA).
