South Carolina High School Soccer - Wren nudges Belton-Honea Path
March 18, 2025: Piedmont, SC 29673 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Wren Hurricanes (Piedmont, SC) and the visiting Belton-Honea Path Bears (Honea Path, SC), saw Wren's soccer squad hold off Belton-Honea Path by a score of 2-1.
The Hurricanes (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Emerald (Greenwood, SC). The Vikings enter the non-league battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Emerald tipped Dixie (Due West, SC), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Bears confront the Palmetto Mustangs (Williamston, SC) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, March 20. Belton-Honea Path will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 5-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Christ Church Episcopal (Greenville, SC).
