Virginia High School Soccer - Fairfax nudges Edison
March 18, 2025: Fairfax, VA 22030 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Fairfax Lions (Fairfax, VA) and the visiting Edison Eagles (Alexandria, VA), saw Fairfax's soccer squad hold off Edison by a score of 3-2.
The Lions (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Justice (Falls Church, VA). The Wolves enter the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Justice was edged by Herndon (Herndon, VA), 5-3, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Eagles confront the West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, March 20. Edison will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 1-0 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Mount Vernon (Alexandria, VA).
