In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Forreston Cardinals softball team scored a tight 4-2 victory over the Polo Marcos.

The Cardinals (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Warren/Stockton (Warren, IL). The Warhawks go into the non-league match with a 1-0 record.
