With the triumph, La Joya Community moves its record to 7-2 on the season. The Fighting Lobos host Central (Phoenix, AZ) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league contest on Thursday, March 19. The Bobcats come into the contest with a record of 0-5. Central lost 21-0 in their recent non-league contest against Copper Canyon (Glendale, AZ)

The Knights now possess a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central for a 5A Metro contest on Monday, March 23. Metro Tech will face a Bobcats team coming off a 20-4 non-league loss to La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ). The Bobcats record now stands at 0-6.
