The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Northampton Yellowjackets (Eastville, VA) and the host West Point Pointers (West Point, VA), saw Northampton's baseball team gain a win over West Point by a tally of 14-6.

The Yellowjackets (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Peninsula Catholic (Newport News, VA). The Knights come into the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Peninsula Catholic was overwhelmed by Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA), 8-4, in a league contest.
