The Broughton Capitals (Raleigh, NC) baseball overwhelmed the host Cary Imps (Cary, NC), 15-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

The Capitals now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rolesville for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 20. Broughton will clash with a Rams team coming off a 20-6 non-league loss to Wakefield (Raleigh, NC). The Rams record now stands at 0-7.

With the defeat, Cary drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Imps travel to Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC) to confront the Golden Hawks in a non-league contest on Friday, March 20.
