The Independence Patriots the host West Cabarrus Wolverines softball squad by a count of 18-14 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Patriots play the West Charlotte Mighty Lions (Charlotte, NC) in a Meck Power Six 7A/8A challenge, on Thursday, March 19. Independence will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record.
