The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Person Rockets (Roxboro, NC) and the visiting Riverside-Durham Pirates (Durham, NC), observed Person's softball team get by Riverside-Durham by a tally of 13-9.

With the triumph, Person improves its record to 2-3 on the year. The Rockets travel to Southeast Alamance (Haw River, NC) to face the Stallions in a Mid-Carolina 4A/5A/6A contest on Friday, March 20. The Stallions enter the contest with a record of 8-0. Southeast Alamance won 5-0 in their recent non-league contest against Orange (Hillsborough, NC)
