In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Gross Catholic Cougars (Omaha, NE) baseball squad triumphed over the host Ralston Rams (Ralston, NE), by a final score of 11-5.

With the win, Gross Catholic upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cougars travel to Plattsmouth (Plattsmouth, NE) to battle the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 21. The Blue Devils enter the bout with a record of 1-0. Plattsmouth won 10-0 in their recent non-league bout against Bryan (Omaha, NE)

Next, the Rams face the Beatrice Orangemen (Beatrice, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 22. Ralston will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Orangemen enter the bout with a 3-0 record after their 17-6 league win over Wahoo/Bishop Neumann/Lincoln Lutheran (Wahoo, NE).
