March 19, 2022: Mercer Island, WA 98040 The Mercer Island Islanders soccer team scored 4 points and limited the visiting Skyline Spartans to 1 in the Islanders non-league victory on Saturday.
Next, the Islanders face the Bellevue Wolverines (Bellevue, WA) in a 2A/3A KingCo contest, on Tuesday, April 5. Mercer Island will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.
The Spartans now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Mount Si for a 4A KingCo contest on Friday, April 1. Skyline will face a Wildcats team coming off a 2-2 non-league Eastmont (East Wenatchee, WA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.
