Virginia High School Softball - Clarke County nudges Sherando
March 19, 2022: Stephens City, VA 22655 Clarke County Eagles (Berryville, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Sherando Warriors (Stephens City, VA), 6-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Spring Mills for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 21. Clarke County will battle a Cardinals squad coming off a 11-1 league loss to Musselman (Inwood, WV). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Sherando falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Kettle Run (Nokesville, VA) to battle the Cougars in a Northwestern challenge on Thursday, March 24. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 0-2.
