Alabama High School Softball - Decatur bounces New Hope
March 19, 2022: Decatur, AL 35601 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Decatur Red Raiders (Decatur, AL) and the visiting New Hope Indians (New Hope, AL), witnessed Decatur's softball squad tip New Hope by a count of 5-1.
The Red Raiders now sport a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to West Morgan for a non-league match on Saturday, March 19. Decatur will face a Rebels squad coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Decatur (Decatur, AL). The Rebels record now stands at 8-2.
With the loss, New Hope moves to 1-5 on the season. The Indians host Brewer (Somerville, AL) to face the Patriots in a non-league match on Monday, March 21. The Patriots go into the match with a record of 9-4. Brewer lost 6-0 in their recent non-league match against West Morgan (Trinity, AL)
