Liberty Patriots (Henderson, NV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Desert Oasis Diamondbacks (Las Vegas, NV), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Patriots now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rancho for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 21. Liberty will face a Rams squad coming off a 8-4 non-league loss to Palo Verde (Las Vegas, NV). The Rams record now stands at 4-7.

With the loss, Desert Oasis falls to 6-3 on the campaign. The Diamondbacks host Sierra Vista (Las Vegas, NV) to face the Mountain Lions in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 21. The Mountain Lions enter the challenge with a record of 11-5. Sierra Vista lost 15-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Green Valley (Henderson, NV)
