Virginia High School Softball - James River bounces Fleming
March 19, 2022: Buchanan, VA 24066 James River Knights (Buchanan, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA), 19-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Knights now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Parry McCluer for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 21. James River will face a Fighting Blues squad coming off a 18-7 non-league win over Nelson County (Lovingston, VA). The Fighting Blues record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Fleming falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Colonels travel to Glass (Lynchburg, VA) to face the Hilltoppers in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 4. The Hilltoppers enter the challenge with a record of 1-2.
