North Carolina High School Softball - Halifax Academy bounces Norfolk Academy
March 19, 2022: Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870 Halifax Academy Vikings (Roanoke Rapids, NC) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their softball team defeat the visiting Norfolk Academy Bulldogs (Norfolk, VA), 12-2 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Halifax Academy moves its record to 8-3 on the year. The Vikings host Faith Christian (Rocky Mount, NC) to clash with the Patriots in a NCISAA Carolina Independent 2A/1A game on Tuesday, March 22. The Patriots come into the game with a record of 2-2. Faith Christian won 11-5 in their recent non-league game against Thales Academy Rolesville (Rolesville, NC)
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Cape Henry Collegiate Dolphins (Virginia Beach, VA) in a Tidewater Independent game, on Tuesday, March 22. Norfolk Academy will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record.
