Texas High School Baseball - Hico gets by Huckabay
March 19, 2024: Hico, TX 76457 Hico Tigers (Hico, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Huckabay Indians (Stephenville, TX), 7-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, Hico upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Tigers host Crawford (Crawford, TX) to battle the Pirates in a 2A Region II District 14 test on Friday, March 22. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 10-1. Crawford won 7-5 in their recent league test against Bangs (Bangs, TX)
With the defeat, Huckabay falls to 0-2 on the season. The Indians travel to Cross Plains (Cross Plains, TX) to battle the Buffaloes in a non-league test on Friday, March 22. The Buffaloes come into the test with a record of 6-4. Cross Plains won 13-2 in their recent non-league test against Jayton (Jayton, TX)
