North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Providence Day can't get by Myers Park

March 19, 2024: Charlotte, NC 28270

Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the host Providence Day Chargers (Charlotte, NC), 9-8 in a non-league battle.

The Mustangs now have a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mooresville for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 21. Myers Park will clash with a Blue Devils squad coming off a 10-5 non-league win over South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-2.

In their next game, the Chargers clash with the Durham Academy Cavaliers (Durham, NC) in a NCISAA - Division I battle, on Friday, March 22. Providence Day will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Cavaliers come into the battle with a 1-2 record after their 9-4 non-league loss to Christ School (Arden, NC).
