Alabama High School Soccer - Montevallo nudges Helena
March 19, 2024: Montevallo, AL 35115 Montevallo Bulldogs (Montevallo, AL) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Helena Huskies (Helena, AL), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Chilton County Tigers (Clanton, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 21. Montevallo will attempt to better on its 10-5 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 1-0 league win over Calera (Calera, AL).
The Huskies now have a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pell City for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 2. Helena will face a Panthers team coming off a 4-0 league win over Shades Valley (Birmingham, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 14-2.
