North Carolina High School Softball - Chase bounces Palisades

The Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC) softball routed the host Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC), 18-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Trojans (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against Cherryville (Cherryville, NC). The Ironmen go into the non-league bout with a 5-1 record. In their last bout, Cherryville notched a victory over Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC), 14-3, in a non-league bout.

The Pumas now possess a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Kings Mountain for a non-league bout on Wednesday, March 20. Palisades will confront a Mountaineers squad coming off a 9-0 league win over Forestview (Gastonia, NC). The Mountaineers record now stands at 5-0.
