California High School Softball - Franklin knocked off by Ponderosa

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) softball team overwhelmed the host Franklin Wildcats (Elk Grove, CA), by a margin of 16-0.

With the triumph, Ponderosa moves its record to 8-2 on the year. The Bruins travel to Capuchino (San Bruno, CA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league contest on Friday, April 5. The Mustangs come into the contest with a record of 4-2.

In their next game, the Wildcats play the Folsom Bulldogs (Folsom, CA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, March 20. Franklin will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 6-5 record after their 7-1 league loss to Whitney (Rocklin, CA).
