The Morton Panthers routed the host Russell Christian Academy Warriors softball squad by a count of 16-3 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Panthers (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Forest (Forest, MS). The Bearcats go into the 4A Region 5 battle with a 6-4 record.

The Warriors now sport a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Tuscaloosa Christian for a Alabama Christian B battle on Thursday, April 18.
