The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Charleroi Cougars (Charleroi, PA) and the visiting Monessen Greyhounds (Monessen, PA), saw Charleroi's baseball team gain a win over Monessen by a tally of 15-0.

The Cougars (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Ringgold (Monongahela, PA). The Rams enter the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Ringgold was overwhelmed by South Park (South Park, PA), 6-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Greyhounds face the Uniontown Red Raiders (Uniontown, PA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, March 20. Monessen will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Red Raiders enter the battle with a 0-2 record after their 13-2 non-league loss to Connellsville (Connellsville, PA).
