In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Sunnyslope Vikings (Phoenix, AZ) baseball squad edged the visiting Cherokee Trail Cougars (Aurora, CO), by a tally of 8-7.

Next up, the Vikings encounter the Basha Bears (Chandler, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 20. Sunnyslope will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Bears enter the bout with a 4-4 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ).

The Cougars (5-2) will now prepare for their bout against Douglas County (Castle Rock, CO). The Huskies enter the non-league bout with a 2-2 record.
