The Richmond Raiders (Rockingham, NC) baseball the host Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC), 9-4 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hoke County for a Sandhills 3A/4A challenge on Friday, March 21. Richmond will clash with a Bucks team coming off a 9-4 non-league win over Red Springs (Red Springs, NC). The Bucks record now stands at 2-8.

With the defeat, Montgomery Central drops to 6-3 on the year. The Timberwolves travel to North Davidson (Lexington, NC) to clash with the Black Knights in a Mid-Piedmont 3A challenge on Friday, March 21. The Black Knights go into the challenge with a record of 1-9. North Davidson lost 10-5 in their recent non-league challenge against East Rowan (Salisbury, NC)
