In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting North Stokes Vikings baseball team scored a close 8-1 win over the Thomasville Bulldogs.

The Vikings (8-2) will now prepare for their game against Starmount (Boonville, NC). The Rams go into the Northwest 1A game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, Starmount was overwhelmed by North Stokes (Danbury, NC), 10-0, in a league game.

Next, the Bulldogs play the North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC) in a Central Carolina 1A/2A game, on Friday, March 21. Thomasville will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Cavaliers go into the game with a 3-4 record after their 28-2 league loss to Thomasville (Thomasville, NC).
