March 19, 2025: Wilmington, NC 28412 The Ashley Screaming Eagle smashed the visiting Purnell Swett Rams soccer team by a tally of 9-0 in Wednesday's non-league game.
Next, the Screaming Eagle face the West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A game, on Thursday, March 20. Ashley will attempt to advance on its 7-0 season record. The Trojans come into the game with a 2-3 record after their 7-0 league loss to Laney (Wilmington, NC).
The Rams (4-4) will now prepare for their game against South View (Hope Mills, NC). The Tigers come into the United Eight 3A/4A game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, South View defeated Lumberton (Lumberton, NC), 3-2, in a league game.
