The Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC) baseball got by the visiting Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders (Raleigh, NC), 5-4 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Green Hope for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 20. Apex Friendship will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 11-10 non-league win over Laney (Wilmington, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 2-7.
