The Bracken County Polar Bears baseball squad (Brooksville, KY), was overwhelmed 28-0 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds (Newport, KY)

With the triumph, Newport Central Catholic moves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Thoroughbreds travel to Cooper (Union, KY) to confront the Jaguars in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 22. The Jaguars come into the contest with a record of 2-0.
