March 19, 2025: Hickory, NC 28601 The St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) baseball got by the visiting West Wilkes Blackhawks (Millers Creek, NC), 13-12 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Indians now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Maiden for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 20. St. Stephens will clash with a Blue Devils team coming off a 10-0 league win over Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-2.
With the defeat, West Wilkes drops to 2-5 on the year. The Blackhawks host North Wilkes (Hays, NC) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 21.
