Louisiana High School Softball - Peabody bounces Northwest
March 19, 2025: Alexandria, LA 71302 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Peabody Warhorses (Alexandria, LA) and the visiting Northwest Raiders (Opelousas, LA), observed Peabody's softball team prevail over Northwest by a tally of 26-10.
The Warhorses (5-8) will now prepare for their bout against Franklin Parish (Winnsboro, LA). The Patriots go into the 4A District 2 bout with a 7-4 record. In their last bout, Franklin Parish was routed by Grant (Dry Prong, LA), 11-5, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Raiders clash with the Pine Prairie Panthers (Pine Prairie, LA) in a 3A District 4 bout, on Tuesday, March 25. Northwest will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 19-2 record after their 1-0 league win over Iota (Iota, LA).
