The Chipley Tigers baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting McMinn Central Chargers to 2 in the Tigers non-league win on Thursday.

The Tigers now hold a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jonesboro for a non-league outing on Monday, March 23. Chipley will battle a Hurricane squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Pulaski Academy (Little Rock, AR). The Hurricane record now stands at 8-1.

The Chargers (6-4) will now prepare for their outing against Roane County (Kingston, TN). The Yellowjackets come into the 2A District 3 test with a 7-3 record.
