In Thursday's non-league bout, the Columbia Wildcats (Nampa, ID) baseball squad edged the host Jerome Tigers (Jerome, ID), by a tally of 4-3.

Next up, the Wildcats encounter the Hillcrest Knights (Idaho Falls, ID) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 19. Columbia will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Knights go into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 24-9 non-league win over Mountain Home (Mountain Home, ID).
