The Mt. Whitney Pioneers overwhelmed the host Fresno Warriors softball team by a margin of 18-4 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Pioneers now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Farmersville for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 24. Mt. Whitney will encounter a Aztecs team coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Kings Christian (Lemoore, CA). The Aztecs record now stands at 9-3.
