March 19, 2026: Lafayette, LA 70501 The St. Thomas More Cougars softball team scored 19 runs and held the host Northside Vikings to 0 in the Cougars league win on Thursday.
The Cougars now possess a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Albany for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 21. St. Thomas More will confront a Hornets team coming off a 16-0 league win over Springfield (Springfield, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 6-9.
With the loss, Northside moves to 0-4 on the season. The Vikings travel to Rayne (Rayne, LA) to meet the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 23. The Wolves enter the challenge with a record of 6-11. Rayne won 21-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Westgate (New Iberia, LA)
