Nevada High School Softball - Poly edges Shadow Ridge

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Poly Bears softball team scored a tight 2-0 win over the Shadow Ridge Mustangs.

The Bears (5-5) will now prepare for their match against Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA). The Eagles come into the non-league match with a 9-1 record. In their last match, Santa Margarita nipped Mission Viejo (Mission Viejo, CA), 8-5, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers (Chatsworth, CA) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 20. Shadow Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Trailblazers enter the game with a 7-4 record after their 17-0 non-league win over Douglas (Minden, NV).
