Louisiana High School Lacrosse - Byrd drops to St. Thomas More
March 2, 2022: Shreveport, LA 71104 St. Thomas More Cougars (Lafayette, LA) boosters exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the host Byrd Yellow Jackets (Shreveport, LA), 10-2 in a non-league battle.
The Cougars now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Loyola College Prep for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 5. St. Thomas More will clash with a Flyers squad coming off a 19-0 non-league loss to Catholic-B.R. (Baton Rouge, LA). The Flyers record now stands at 0-1.
In their next game, the Yellow Jackets clash with the St. Paul's Wolves (Covington, LA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 5. Byrd will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Wolves come into the battle with a 2-2 record after their 21-3 non-league win over Captain Shreve (Shreveport, LA).
