Alabama High School Softball - Bessemer City can't hold off Wenonah
March 2, 2022: Bessemer, AL 35022 The Wenonah Dragons softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Bessemer City Tigers to 10 in the Dragons non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Wenonah improves its record to 3-2 on the year. The Dragons travel to Parker (Birmingham, AL) to clash with the Thundering Herd in a non-league game on Thursday, March 3. The Thundering Herd come into the game with a record of 6-4. Parker lost 32-27 in their recent non-league game against Comer (Sylacauga, AL)
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Jackson-Olin Mustangs (Birmingham, AL) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 7. Bessemer City will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the game with a 3-2 record after their 18-9 non-league win over Carver Birmingham (Birmingham, AL).
