March 2, 2022: Price, TX 75687 The Carlisle Indians routed the visiting Jacksonville Fightin' Indians softball squad by a final score of 16-1 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Indians (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Big Sandy (Big Sandy, TX). The Wildcats go into the 2A Region III District 19 battle with a 1-8 record. In their last battle, Big Sandy was routed by Gladewater (Gladewater, TX), 7-2, in a non-league battle.
The Fightin' Indians now possess a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Hawkins for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 3. Jacksonville will confront a Hawks squad coming off a 12-6 non-league win over Grace Community (Tyler, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 2-1.
