In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting May River Sharks baseball team scored a close 5-4 win over the Wade Hampton Red Devils.

Coming up next, the Sharks encounter the John Paul II Golden Warrriors (Ridgeland, SC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 3. May River will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.
