Michigan High School Basketball - Universal Academy ripped by Westfield Prep
March 2, 2023: Redford, MI 48239 The Westfield Prep Warriors basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Universal Academy Eagles to 40 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Warriors now sport a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Garden City for a non-league contest on Monday, March 6. Westfield Prep will meet a Cougars team coming off a 52-30 non-league loss to Huron (New Boston, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 2-20.
The Eagles (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against Detroit Community (Detroit, MI). The Hurricanes enter the non-league contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, Detroit Community was routed by Chandler Park Academy (Harper Woods, MI), 83-36, in a non-league contest.
