Michigan High School Basketball - West Michigan Aviation Academy can't hold off Wayland
March 2, 2023: Grand Rapids, MI The Wayland Wildcats basketball team scored 52 points and held the host West Michigan Aviation Academy to 49 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Wildcats now sport a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Plainwell for a non-league contest on Monday, March 6. Wayland will battle a Trojans team coming off a 49-42 league win over Edwardsburg (Edwardsburg, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 11-11.
The (13-8) will now prepare for their contest against Forest Hills Eastern (Ada, MI). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 15-7 record. In their last contest, Forest Hills Eastern nudged Lowell (Lowell, MI), 54-45, in a non-league contest.
