Connecticut High School Basketball - Mercy overwhelms East Haven
March 2, 2023: East Haven, CT 06513 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Mercy Tigers (Middletown, CT) and the host East Haven Yellowjackets (East Haven, CT), saw Mercy's basketball squad wallop East Haven by a tally of 62-33.
With the victory, Mercy improves its record to 16-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Foran (Milford, CT) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 6. The Lions enter the game with a record of 17-6. Foran won 45-34 in their recent non-league game against Nonnewaug (Woodbury, CT)
With the defeat, East Haven moves to 14-8 on the year.
