Oklahoma High School Basketball - Kingfisher nips Sallisaw
March 2, 2023: Sallisaw, OK 74955 Kingfisher Yellowjackets (Kingfisher, OK) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Sallisaw Black Diamonds (Sallisaw, OK), 48-42 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Kingfisher upgrades its record to 22-5 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Oologah (Oologah, OK) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Friday, March 3. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 6-2. Oologah won 44-43 in their recent non-league test against Anadarko (Anadarko, OK)
The Black Diamonds now own a 10-4 record.
