California High School Lacrosse - Hoover drops to Mar Vista
March 2, 2023: San Diego, CA 92115 Mar Vista Mariners (Imperial Beach, CA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Hoover Cardinals (San Diego, CA), 15-0 in a non-league test.
The Mariners now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Hilltop for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 7. Mar Vista will face a Lancers squad coming off a 8-4 non-league loss to Castle Park (Chula Vista, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 0-2.
In their next game, the Cardinals face the Southwest SD Raiders (San Diego, CA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, March 7. Hoover will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Raiders come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Morse (San Diego, CA).
