North Carolina High School Soccer - South Mecklenburg knocks off Providence
March 2, 2023: Charlotte, NC 28210 South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Providence Panthers (Charlotte, NC), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Sabres confront the East Mecklenburg Eagles (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 7. South Mecklenburg will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Berry (Charlotte, NC).
With the loss, Providence drops to 1-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to Christ the King (Huntersville, NC) to encounter the Crusaders in a non-league test on Monday, March 6. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 1-0. Christ the King won 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Cannon (Concord, NC)
