The Catawba Ridge Copperheads lacrosse team scored 14 points and held the visiting Woodmont Wildcats to 8 in the Copperheads non-league win on Thursday.

The Copperheads (1-3) will now prepare for their match against A.C. Flora (Columbia, SC). The Falcons go into the non-league match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, A.C. Flora nudged Heathwood Hall Episcopal (Columbia, SC), 4-1, in a non-league match.

The Wildcats (1-2) will now prepare for their match against J.L. Mann (Greenville, SC). The Patriots go into the 5A District 1 match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, J.L. Mann nudged Dorman (Roebuck, SC), 12-6, in a non-league match.
